Adam Footlik is the Program Associate at US-China Education Trust. He assists in program implementation and evaluation, budget tracking, and development of new initiatives.
Adam's interest in international exchange began at the age of 10, when he went to Guatemala City to attend his brother’s soccer tournament. Adam studied abroad in Panama City, where he volunteered at the United Nations World Food Programme. Adam spent three years teaching English to vocational and elementary school students in Spain. From 2014 to 2016, Adam served as a Peace Corps volunteer at the Guizhou Institute of Technology in Guiyang, China. He taught English to 18 and 19-year-olds and developed a fitness club with more than 200 members, and has served as a public diplomacy intern at the Embassy of Peru.
Adam holds a BS in International Affairs and Spanish from Florida State University. He is currently pursuing his MA in U.S. Foreign Policy and National Security at the American University School of International Service.
Adam is proficient in Mandarin and speaks fluent Spanish.
