The USCET Delegation Enjoyed a Day of Discussion with Think Tanks in Beijing, CICIR and PANGOAL

On April 19, The USCET delegation had a lively discussion with CICIR and PANGOAL about the recent Trump-Xi summit held in Palm Beach, Florida. USCET and the think tanks offered insight into each society's perspective of overall US-China relations. One theme was obvious throughout the day - the US and China are able to listen to each other and empathize through people-to-people exchange. PANGOAL leader Wang Dong said it best, "What is most important is that we are creating discussion, not that we come to the same conclusion."

The supremely successful TED-style talk that was held on February 19th at Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, that’s what.  USCET’s Training of Trainers Conference ended on a high note with public talks discussing the latest trends in data journalism in China and globally.
